The SSSUP – Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna is a public university working in the field of applied science. In the university, the Institute of Management is one among the research centres of the school’s Economics department, within which a team of professors and researchers oversees studies and researches on sustainability (sustainability management). Their projects focus on the socio-economic evaluation of environmental systems and aim to improve the environmental performance of companies and institutions within the territories in which these develop and operate, as well as to experiment with innovative management solutions in order to reduce the impact of economic activities on environment and territory. The team has relevant experience in projects funded by the Life programme, whose main goal is that of adopting innovative approaches and tools for the environment.
IdM – Sant’Anna takes part in all project actions and is responsible for actions A1, B2 and C2.
