PEFMED PLUS – Sharing and transferring Product Environmental Footprint experiences and methods to neighbouring countries of the Adriatic agrifood sector aims to raise awareness about the environmental impact of traditional food productions; deliver a training program on outputs previously gained with PEFMED project; perform knowledge transfer to agri-food producers, clusters, and public institutions; and ratify protocols and memorandums of understanding with the above-mentioned target groups to ensure an after-life plan.
PEFMED PLUS consortium is working to replicate the culture and methodology of the PEFMED project (which involved Mediterranean countries) and to convey a set of ready-to-use outputs to agri-food companies in the Adriatic basin. A series of horizontal activities, such as capacity building, training, and capitalization, will be paired with a series of vertical actions focused on specific food supply chains.
Project partners are ENEA (Italy); Federalimentare Servizi Srl (Italy); County of Split-Dalmatia (Croatia); Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (Greece); Administration for food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary affairs (Montenegro); University of Mostar – Faculty of Agriculture and food Technology (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Agrofood Regional Innovation and Technology Transfer Center – CRITT PACA (France).
