PEFMED PLUS

Product Environmental Footprint in the Adriatic food sector
Logo PEFMED PLUS

PEFMED PLUSSharing and transferring Product Environmental Footprint experiences and methods to neighbouring countries of the Adriatic agrifood sector aims to raise awareness about the environmental impact of traditional food productions; deliver a training program on outputs previously gained with PEFMED project; perform knowledge transfer to agri-food producers, clusters, and public institutions; and ratify protocols and memorandums of understanding with the above-mentioned target groups to ensure an after-life plan.

PEFMED PLUS consortium is working to replicate the culture and methodology of the PEFMED project (which involved Mediterranean countries) and to convey a set of ready-to-use outputs to agri-food companies in the Adriatic basin. A series of horizontal activities, such as capacity building, training, and capitalization, will be paired with a series of vertical actions focused on specific food supply chains.

Project partners are ENEA (Italy); Federalimentare Servizi Srl (Italy); County of Split-Dalmatia (Croatia); Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (Greece); Administration for food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary affairs (Montenegro); University of Mostar – Faculty of Agriculture and food Technology (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Agrofood Regional Innovation and Technology Transfer Center – CRITT PACA (France).
