LIFE MAGIS at the Sustainable Development Festival 2020 (October 9, 2020)

On October 9, 2020 LIFE MAGIS will participate to the event “Sheep for future: verso la neutralità climatica in agricoltura” (tr. “Sheep for future: towards climate neutrality in agriculture), organized by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia – Department for environmental protection and the Institute of BioEconomy of the National Research Council, coordinator of the SheepToShip LIFE project LIFE MAGIS collaborates with.

Starting from the results of SheepToShip LIFE, which is working to valorise the contribution that the Sardinian sheep supply chain – from farming to processing milk and dairy products – can offer to climate change mitigation processes, defining tools and actions to reduce greenhouse gases emission from the agriculture and livestock sectors and from the agrofood industry, the event aims at presenting the experiences of companies working on environmental, economic and social sustainability.

The contribution from LIFE MAGIS aims at presenting the potentials of those existing virtuous paths also in relation to the possibility to get certifications such as Made Green in Italy, valorising and communicating the company efforts in a transparent and robust way.

The event is part of the Sustainable Development Festival 2020, organized by ASviS – Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development.
